Best Brunch in Newcastle

Bottoms Up!

From Bloody Marys to Bellinis, here’s our favourite spots for a boozy brunch in Newcastle.

The trend has to be one of our favourites, from stacks of pancakes with all the toppings to glass after glass of Prosecco – what’s not to love?

Las Iguanas

Your Latin American local, right on the Quayside. Choose a starter and main whilst enjoying unlimited Prosecco or draught beers, cheers to that! As for dishes, expect Cheese and Mango Empanada (crispy pasty filled with brie & mango, served with sticky chilli jam) to start, then tuck into Huevos Rancheros Carne, a Cuban sandwich or Burrito for main.

The Alchemist

With relaxing vibes make the most of their American-style Waffles, Burrito or Steak and Eggs. With three drinks included choose between an uplifting citrus G&T, renowned Aperol Spritz or rose sangria, chin chin!

Malmaison

Say hello to unlimited Prosecco, endless Aperol Spritz or Heineken. When it comes to food, choose a hearty main course, whether you want to go all out with Eggs Benedict or Chez Mal baked eggs. Fizz, food and amazing views of the Quayside – book us a table!

Eden

Then there’s the new kid on the block, having just opened near The Gate. Sip on bottomless bubbles or Bellinis and feast on crushed avocado on sourdough, toasted crumpets and preserves, full or vegan breakfasts and did we mention those brown butter American pancakes? The interiors here are gorgeous, florally themed with comfy chairs, fragrant flowers and pink trees…an influencer’s dream.

And if you’re looking to head further afield…there’s Jam Jar!

Here, tuck into heaps of yummy breakfast treats or stacked burgers. Why not try their bottomless brunch and mix up your own mimosas and bellinis as you get bottles of prosecco delivered to your table. This deal is served Friday - Saturday from 10.30am - 3pm and Sunday 11am - 3pm

So that’s that, your weekend brunch guide signed, sealed and delivered. We’re still dreaming of pancakes and possibly a little bit tipsy from the Bellinis, or was it the Bloody Marys?

Don’t forget, if you need a brunch buddy just give us a buzz, zero persuasion required!
